Summary.

Canela Media, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Content Operations to lead our video content strategy.

Responsibilities

Video Operations

• Oversee the ingestion, normalization, and processing of licensed content
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize video workflow efficiency
• Ensure quality control standards are met for all processed content
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve video management systems
• Distribute Content to 3rd parties when necessary (YouTube, Mirriad, VOD Distribution Partners)

Leadership and Strategy

• Develop and execute the overall video content strategy aligned with company objectives
• Lead and mentor the video operations team
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless content delivery
• Provide regular reports on video operations metrics to senior management

Qualifications

• Extensive career in Video Editing, Film, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in video operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of video processing technologies and workflows
• Detail oriented.
• Understanding of Metadata structures.
• Proficiency with Video Ingestion Tools: Iconik, Hybrik, AirTable, Frame.IO, etc.
• Familiarity with Metadata Structures CSV data tables and external MetaData partners including Gracenote
• Familiarity with Graphic Design software: Adobe Suite
• Proven track record of leading successful video content strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
