Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Enterprise Account Manager to join our team to provide leadership support and account strategy across existing key accounts. Reporting to the Senior Manager and the Director of Enterprise, the Enterprise Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering strong relationships with enterprise clients. This individual will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and execute plans to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of understand clients’ brand objectives, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration, mobilizing internal resources for the delivery of bespoke media, sponsorship, and branded content integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth: Support Senior Management to renew, upsell and cross-sell an assigned book of business of existing advertising, partners and sponsors. Help develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth within assigned enterprise accounts, leveraging a deep understanding of client needs and industry trends. Generate and manage new business within assigned accounts, and developing custom solutions in concert with internal teams, aligned with both client brand objectives and Canela’s audience growth plans
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and advise on marketing strategies by understanding client expectations, assessing feasibility and identifying opportunities for our clients. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategic account plans tailored to each client's objectives and priorities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with enterprise clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters. Develop and cultivate deep relationships with personnel across clients’ internal and agency footprint
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, client services, ad ops and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities, develop tailored proposals, and drive successful client engagements.
  • Client Advocacy: Advocate for client needs internally, ensuring alignment across departments and delivering exceptional service and support at all times. Manage overall customer loyalty, acting as an internal champion and escalation point for key account teams. Ensure all clients are educated on offerings and products and uncover specific opportunities that meet their specific challenges
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor day-to-day account tactics across enterprise accounts with the goal of identifying growth opportunities and/or potential account issues. Track and analyze key account metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior management to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain detailed knowledge of key accounts’ market objectives and, more broadly, specific challenges, opportunities within their industry vertical. Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends in digital media, sharing insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in media industry with sales and marketing, client or agency background.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role, ideally at the enterprise/key account level
  • Deep understanding of digital media landscape
  • Broad knowledge of media landscape and competitive set
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: collaborating, presenting, persuading, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Able to grasp and solve complex business issues quickly and creatively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive team player, unafraid to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into problems to identify new solutions
